We are an accredited organisation dedicated to providing our clients with premium-quality Conical Spring Mechanical Seals. Various seal faces and elastomers are available to suit different applications. Torque transmission is achieved through a conical helical spring, making the seal dependent on the direction of shaft rotation, as viewed from the drive end. A clockwise rotating shaft requires a right-handed spring, while a counterclockwise rotating shaft requires a left-handed spring. For easier installation, the conical helical spring should be pushed onto the shaft with a twisting motion in the direction of the spring’s unwinding. This action expands the spring’s diameter, allowing for easy fitment.
