Wave Spring Type (for HDD Machine)

These single semi-cartridge, non-clogging slurry seals are supplied as readymade units consisting of a pre-set seal head, sleeve and gland, eliminating on-site setting measurements and minimizing alignment errors. The design is suitable for abrasive slurry and dirty‑water services typically encountered in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) rigs and associated rotary /swivel joints.

In HDD applications, the seal is mounted in the rotary joint /swivel that transmits drilling fluid while the drill string rotates, ensuring positive sealing under fluctuating pressure, vibration and misalignment. The balanced, rugged construction with slurry‑duty faces and robust springs maintains stable face loading, delivering long service life in road-crossing cable ducts, pipe-jacking and trenchless installation where reliability and quick replacement are critical.
