The single helical coil spring design is specially developed for applications involving dirty media and clogging. Torque transmission from the drive collar to the spring holder and seal ring is efficiently handled by robust drive lugs. The ‘V’ packing is spring-energised, ensuring optimal dynamic sealing. Additionally, since all components are interchangeable, the SS120/SS125 series allows easy conversion from O-ring to ‘V’ packing by simply changing the secondary seal, making it ideal for stock rationalization.
