Description
The HM-1105 Horizontal Non-Metallic Monoblock Pump is a close-coupled, single-stage, end-suction centrifugal pump designed for corrosive chemical service where metallic wetted parts are not suitable. Its non-metallic hydraulic construction, available with open or semi-open impellers and a mechanical seal driven directly by an electric motor, provides reliable resistance to acids, alkalis, chlorinated media, plating chemicals, pickling solutions, and contaminated effluents. The monoblock arrangement minimizes footprint, coupling alignment issues, and installation complexity while supporting cost-competitive, compact pump layouts.
Wetted components such as the volute and impeller are typically fabricated in polypropylene or other chemical-resistant polymers, with the shaft protected by replaceable sleeves in materials compatible with the handled liquid. High-quality ball bearings and corrosion-resistant construction extend service life in continuous duty, especially in scrubber circulation, effluent transfer, and other aggressive environments.
Engineered for chemical process plants, effluent treatment plants (ETP), acid regeneration units, gas scrubbers, filter-press feed, and general industrial transfer duties, the HM-1105 is well-suited for applications where leakage control, chemical compatibility, and low maintenance are critical. Typical usage includes acid and alkali transfer, electroplating and pickling lines, dyes and paint manufacture, pharmaceutical processes, steel re-rolling auxiliaries, water-treatment systems, and power-sector balance-of-plant services.
