The Wave Spring SemiCartridge Mechanical Seal is a compact, precisionengineered sealing solution developed for hot water, light hydrocarbons and general process services where axial space is limited yet high sealing reliability is essential. The design incorporates a wavespring loading element, which provides consistent axial face loading while occupying significantly less axial length than conventional coil springs, making it ideal for spaceconstrained pump and rotatingequipment installations. 

 

Supplied as a factory preassembled semicartridge unit with a preset working length, the seal is ready for immediate installation on the shaft or sleeve. This construction eliminates onsite setting of seal dimensions, reduces installation time and greatly lowers the risk of assembly errors that can lead to premature failure or excessive leakage. The preassembly and testing process ensures consistent performance from unit to unit and supports reliable commissioning. 

 

The seal is available in both hydraulically balanced and unbalanced configurations, allowing optimisation for different pressure and fluid conditions.
