The MI250C is a high-performance, multi-spring mechanical seal specifically developed for slurry applications. Its design includes a dynamic ‘O’ ring that protects the springs from exposure to the media. Despite being a balanced seal, it does not require a stepped sleeve, allowing the sleeve from an unbalanced seal to be used without modification
Torque is transmitted to the seal ring through durable multiple drive pins or lugs. The MI250C can be paired with various stationary seal rings, providing flexibility across different applications. It features a balanced ‘O’ ring design with anti-clogging properties, where the springs are located outside the fluid, and the dynamic ‘O’ ring moves on a clean surface.
This design is ideal for stock rationalization, and all seals are factory-assembled and dynamically tested to ensure performance and reliability.
