Description
The VC-1140 Vertical Metallic Coupled Pump is a vertical sump-type centrifugal pump for transferring process liquids, effluents, utility water and chemical drains from pits, tanks, sumps and collection vessels. The motor is mounted above the liquid on a rigid mounting plate and drives the submerged pump casing through a vertical column assembly, with an external discharge pipe routed to the process line.
Metallic wetted construction in cast iron, WCB, stainless steels and Hastelloy C gives mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for power, steel, process, chemical and petrochemical plants, as well as effluent treatment and water extraction duties. Keeping the drive above the liquid zone improves access for inspection and supports continuous operation.
